Product Description
Clutch Kit
In your Land Rover, the clutch acts as a mechanical linkage between the engine and transmission and briefly disconnects or separates the engine from the transmission system. The clutch disconnects the driven wheels from the engine whenever the clutch pedal is depressed, allowing the driver to change gears smoothly or come to a stop. The clutch consists of a driven plate, friction plate and cover and is operated by a hydraulic release cylinder. It is normal for the clutch to wear with normal use and will require replacement at some point in the vehicles life. It is good practice to replace other parts associated with the clutch simultaneously. This is because changing the clutch is a big job, and it makes sense to change all components together.
